Let me just start by saying that I literally think Sydney and I might be twins 10 years apart but she's definitely the cooler one... Reading her blogpost, I learned things about her that I didn't know before and there's so much overlap in our lives, it's crazy. But she's cooler, prettier, funnier than I will ever be 😂 We even live literally 1 mile from each other... what! We did a wedding together last fall and a styled shoot in January and it was an absolute pleasure to watch this girl do her thing and shine. I'm so honored to have her as our featured guest this week and to call her a friend! She is the absolute bomb and I love referring her to our DE babes! 💖
Sydney is only 26 and has built an impressive career as the owner of Luxe Refinery, a fantastic team of local makeup artists here in Columbia. She’s the proud mom of Louis, her adorable cat, and a number of plants. She’s also engaged to Zachary, and they’re tying the knot in May 2024!
Makeup is one of the many ways she expresses her love for the arts, and as an attendee of the Music Industry program at Bethel University in Tennessee, she had the opportunity to tour with a bluegrass band and grow her passion for music. In fact, on this tour is where she discovered her appreciation for beauty, after spending her time doing makeup for herself and her bandmates.
