I don’t know about you… but, being cooped up at home for months on end has me reminiscing on events of the past!
Back in February (before the world went CRAZY), we were able to host a lovely GNO (girls night out if you’re not familiar!) out at Cooper’s Ridge Event Venue on a FREEZING night!
If you’re not familiar with one of the best shows of all time, Parks and Recreation starring Amy Poehler, let me try and break down what Galentine’s Day is…
Amy Poehler’s character, the great Leslie Knope, created the unofficial holiday which arrives on the eve of Valentine’s Day (February 13th) and marks a time for women to celebrate with their girlfriends. Although brunch (specifically waffles) and mimosas are typically the food of choice on Galentine’s Day, the main point is for women to spend time with their closest girlfriends and participate in the activities they enjoy the most. #treatyoself style.
Our sold out Galentine’s Delight event brought women of all ages to Boonville, MO for a fun filled evening of drinks, hors d’oeuvres, tasty desserts from ComoClassicPastry, and a lesson in charcuterie by the wonderful Chef Craig Scott.
Did I mention there was a photo booth with a bright pink sofa?! 🤤 (Is it possible to drool over a vintage sofa??? Asking for a friend…)
It was such a delightful time and we were thrilled to have so many women gather together to celebrate the love we have with our best gal pals! I cannot wait for Galentine’s Day 2021… and really, just seeing my girlfriends in person SOON!

The food was delectable. The drinks hit the spot. The cake and macarons were TO DIE FOR! And the company was delightful! It was a pleasure to work with our friends The Huebner’s and The McCollegan’s at Cooper’s Ridge. Thank You to all who were involved to make this the perfect GNO!
