Pearls of Wisdom: Cooper’s Ridge Event Venue

As a wedding vendor in Mid-Missouri, one of my favorite and most frequent venues to work at is Cooper’s Ridge Venue out in Boonville, MO! This venue is based off of I-70 and is so versatile for all different styles of different couples. I have seen some of the most modern events and the most niche weddings occur over at Cooper’s and the venue never seems to disappoint.

Cooper’s Ridge was originally a homestead owned by the Overton family and the main building was actually a furniture store that sold American Oak furniture to families across Mid-Missouri. After some much needed renovations, Cooper’s is now a mid-century modern venue with wood and metal finishes. Not only does the main venue building live on the property, but it also includes a beautiful lake (perfect for a backdrop for the arbor), a covered patio that is great for cocktail hour, and a bridal suite across the way that is used for getting ready before the ceremony or can be used as a honeymoon suite.

We reached out to Brandi Huebner, one of the owners and the venue manager at Cooper’s Ridge, and asked her about her most important advice to brides. She said,

“When planning your special day, first, decide the top few things that are most important to you and don’t settle on those items. Whether it’s the venue, the bar package or your dress, don’t compromise! Second, choose your vendors wisely! A wedding coordinator is key to a stress-free, smooth flowing day.” – Brandi Huebner, Venue Manager at Cooper’s Ridge Venue

To get a better sneak peak at the venue, be sure to check Cooper’s out on all their socials such as Facebook and Instagram. Their website also includes all pricing details and an extensive gallery of past weddings and events as well. Here at Delight, we love Cooper’s Ridge and will always give it an amazing review in our book!
